Volunteer Opportunities

Tech Helper
Share your tech expertise by coaching adults as they learn computer skills.
Work with adult learners at all levels of tech knowledge, tutor one-on-one in Tech Basics Coaching sessions, or assist in the computing area at the Central Library. Tech subjects include basic computer and internet skills; basic tablet skills; setting up email or social media accounts; and downloading the library’s digital books, audiobooks, and magazines.

Children’s Library Helper
No hours currently available – please submit application to be placed on the waiting list
For volunteers ages 14-17
Help present library materials in an organized and pleasing way. Ensure that books are in proper order, straighten books on the shelf, clean materials, and assist in craft preparation for library programs.

Friends of the Bellingham Public Library
