We Share A Story is an international literacy project originating in Bellingham, Washington (USA) through cooperative efforts of the Bellingham Children's Library and the Bellingham Sister City Association.

In November 2005, We Share A Story connected the world with a story from Australia. A team of Port Stephens (Australia) public and school librarians chose Big Rain Coming by Katrina Germein as the We Share A Story title! Big Rain Coming was shared
during an international read on
Tuesday, November 15, 2005.

At 9:15 A.M. Bellingham residents listened to the story on
KAFE Radio 104.3 FM.
