Friends to The End
Submitted by the GaSeLe CampFire Club

Long long ago there was a raccoon named Bucktooth Bandit, who lived in the woods of Washington State. Her friend, a wolf, named Red Fred ate her.

Red Fred decided to eat Bucktooth Bandit because she was tired of eating dandelions. Red Fred was so hungry that she swallowed Bucktooth Bandit whole. Landing in the dark belly of the wolf, Bucktooth Bandit lit a match and looked around. She saw a BIG fluffy yellow pile. Moving closer, Bucktooth Bandit recognized piles of dandelion heads. It looked like a nice place to rest. As she settled in, the match fell into the pile of dandelions catching them on fire!

Smoke from the fire made Red Fred sneeze. Ah-choo! She sneezed so hard Bucktooth Bandit flew right out of her nose. The little raccoon sailed south to the Redwood Forest of Northern California. Bucktooth Bandit lived out her life in the top of a giant Sequoia tree as far away from wolves as she could get.
