Storytimes



The Central Library offers regularly scheduled storytimes for children of all ages.  Storytimes are free of charge and do not require pre-registration.  Check our online event calendar or contact the Children's Library for the current schedule.

Baby Time Storytime Series

For non-walking babies and a parent
Tuesdays, March 11 - May 6
No Storytime on April 1
2:00 - 2:45 p.m. (includes storytime and baby play time)
*Pre-registration is required for this program - space is limited!  Call 778-7200 to register.
Note: Registration is for ALL EIGHT sessions.

Baby Time focuses on the interaction between parent and child and will incorporate fun rhymes, songs, bounces, movement, stories and free play time.

Little Storytime

For children ages birth - 3 years with an adult partner.
Join Bethany or Bernice for a half-hour of simple stories, songs, finger and lap play and creative movement.  Lots of fun!

Tuesdays, March 4 - May 6 at 10:05 a.m.; 10:35 a.m.; and 11:05 a.m.

Fairhaven Family Story Night with the Bellingham Storytellers Guild

For children ages 6 and up; adults welcome.

NEW: Looking to begin storytelling or craft your skills?  The Storytellers Guild offers Storytelling Coaching from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Storytelling begins at 7:00 p.m.

Every third Friday of the month from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Room at the Fairhaven Branch Library.
