Tiny Travelers Club
Tiny Travelers Club for ages birth - 5 years
Read, play, discover!
Children ages birth - 5 years have their own Summer Reading program
this year! Designed for those not yet reading, children (and
parents!) are challenged to complete a game-board of activities
including singing songs, attending library
programs and reading books.
How to participate in Tiny Travelers Club:
-
Pick up a Tiny Travelers game board from the Central Library, Barkley
Branch or Fairhaven Branch Library.
- Work your way through the game board by completing activities.
- When all activities are completed, come to the library and celebrate
with fun prizes including a mystery gift from one of our Community
Partners, a yard sign, an invitation to the Summer Reading
Recognition Ceremony on August 10th and a coupon for a free book from
the Friends of the Library.
Be sure to visit our
calendar of events and participate in our summer
programs - we have a great line-up for ages birth - 5 including:
-
Little Storytime: 30
minutes of stories, songs, dancing and fun for children ages birth - 3
years (with an adult partner).
-
Raccoon Time: 30
minutes of stories, songs, a craft and the Hokey Pokey for children ages
2 1/2 - 4 years (with an adult partner).
-
Time for Tales: 30 minutes of stories, songs, movement and a craft for
ages 4 - 8 years.
- 43rd Annual Children's Craft Fair on July 29th.
The Summer Reading program is sponsored by the Friends of the Bellingham
Public Library and other Community Partners.
