Purchase Suggestion

Irises

May I suggest that the library acquire an item that is not in the collection?

Yes! The library welcomes your suggestions. Please check the library catalog to see if the library owns the item before you submit your request.

Items selected for purchase will be placed on hold on your account. Titles not purchased for the library's collection may be requested through Interlibrary Loan. This process usually takes two to three weeks. Most items are borrowed for free. However, occasionally a library may charge a lending fee. In this case we will notify you for approval before requesting the item. Please indicate on the Purchase Suggestion Form if an Interlibrary Loan is acceptable.

If an item is not purchased or is unavailable through Interlibrary Loan, a note will be placed on your account.

Effective January 1, 2014 a total of three purchase suggestions and/or interlibrary loans may be submitted each day. Requests exceeding three will not be considered.

Please complete and submit a form for:

Authors and publishers: Please see the Library's purchasing guidelines if you would like your title to be considered for purchase.
