Friends of the Library Teen Book Sale

The Friends of the Bellingham Public Library are holding their first-ever Teen Book Sale on Friday, July 31 in the lower lobby of the Central Library from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hundreds of former library books and donated books for teens will be available. Prices are low to encourage teens to stock up on reading materials over the summer.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Bellingham Public Library. The Friends fund several projects aimed at teens such as cool prizes for the Teen Summer Reading program, snacks for Teen Anime Night and participating in the annual Whatcomics event.

“We just want to make these books available to teens,” explains sale organizer Vicky Marshall. “It’s our way of recycling and keeping teens involved in the library.”

Call 778-7250 for more information.
